Tiggy has reviewed the departmental records and reports that, aside from the continuing matter of her missing collar, all remains broadly under control.
⛪ Following today’s inspection of the Wee Parasol Cathedral, Dr Millicent Meles of the Chester Society of Miniature Architecture has raised concerns regarding the absence of planning permission. Simon Turner (Ant No. 380), Senior Structural Adviser, continues to maintain that the Cathedral’s inherent foldability renders it a temporary structure. Dr Meles disagrees.
🕊️ Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst has penned a letter to her husband confirming she will not be returning home. In the letter, she also makes her feelings towards the Duck (you know the one) clear. Tiggy has extended her unwavering support to Mrs Peckhurst during this challenging time. The Duck remains in a critical condition.
🗳️ Tiggy has continued making productive time of her house arrest by counting the Employee of the Week ballot papers contained in the 25 boxes that Toffee and Buzz (perhaps fortunately) brought home. Progress has been steady, although it was interrupted when Toffee and Socks “bounded through a pile of ballot papers” while Buzz barked at them. All three have been removed from the makeshift home counting area and instructed to remain outside until further notice. Buzz has protested that she was protecting the papers by barking at a possible intruder three doors down. Tiggy says she does not care who or what she was barking at; she is to stay away.
🦡 The four Feline Sedan Chair Bearers have been practising for their upcoming Department for Vehicular Licensing & Animal Conveyance (DVLAC) exam. Today’s session concentrated on the emergency stop. Unfortunately, on their first attempt, the printer being used in place of the life-size, exact, posable replica of Tiggy Mrs Dillwyn-Llewelyn is preparing for the actual exam flew from the sedan chair, leaving toner and ink smeared across the concourse. Station staff have since banned the badgers from ‘borrowing’ office equipment.
