Tiggy has completed her morning patrol and is pleased to report that all remains broadly under control.
The judging panel conducting auditions for the Health & Safety (Ant Division) Synchronised Tap & Parasol Dance Troupe has issued an urgent appeal to all 14,873 ants to end their strike following confirmation that a preliminary video tryout for Ants Have Talent 2027 has been secured. The panel has warned that unless auditions can commence shortly, the opportunity may be lost.
The ants remain on strike inside their partially constructed Wee Parasol Cathedral over plans to allocate troupe places on a first-come, first-served basis until the supply of Wee Tap Shoes runs out. With the number of Wee Tap Shoes available unknown, they maintain this gives those auditioning first an unfair advantage.
Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst reminds both the judging panel and the ants that, irrespective of the Troupe and Ants Have Talent, every ant’s first responsibility is to complete his or her Staff Census form.
Preparations are underway for the commencement of the vote count for the Employee of the Week ballot for the week ending 12 June. It is understood an adjudicator from the Cheshire & Warrington Employee Recognition Ballot Standards Authority (CWERBSA) is expected to arrive early next week. In the meantime, Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst and the Duck (you know the one) are assisting the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis in organising the counting area. All are under strict instruction not to touch any ballot papers until the adjudicator arrives.
Phileas Moss Esq.’s Flying Harness Engineering Team has continued work on its preliminary prototype. Mr Moss has taken a break from writing his aviation memoirs for his first strap fitting.
Tiggy is currently staring into space. Her plans for the rest of the day remain unclear.
