Tiggy has completed her evening patrol and is pleased to report that all remains broadly under control.
Mrs Gladys M. Dillwyn-Llewelyn arrived at Chester Station this afternoon for Tiggy’s first sitting for the stained-glass window she has commissioned herself to create. Tiggy remained suitably stately for much of the sitting – although was distracted at times by a startled starling flapping around in the station rafters. Mrs D-L luckily had small morsels of rosemary-infused butter-poached lobster on hand to refocus Tiggy as necessary.
Senior Risk Assessment Officer Anita Butler (Ant No. 14,351) has continued her inspection of the pulley system following yesterday’s sugar incident at the Wee Parasol Cathedral. The remaining 14,872 members of Health & Safety (Ant Division) remain on strike.
Voting in the Employee of the Week ballot for the week ending 12 June has officially closed. Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst and the Duck (you know the one) are now overseeing the counting of votes by the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis. Toffee’s giddiness at the prospect caused the whole Department to collectively catch the zoomies – they have therefore been dispatched to the racecourse to decompress.
Dr Barnaby Wycliffe has continued his research into the possible hereditary nature of Lady Tigridia’s annual 12-herring stipend. He has made no findings as yet and continues to decline invitations from the Duck (you know the one) to discuss their shared experience inside the sugar mountain at one of the Duck’s forthcoming speeches.
Tiggy is now recovering from the considerable exertion involved in remaining suitably stately for an extended period by letting it all hang out!
