9.13 Morning Report Update

The Office regrets that the publication of this morning’s report has been further delayed.

Whilst Tiggy has now awakened from her earlier unscheduled rest stop, patrol operations have once again been interrupted.

Officials report that Tiggy has become completely mesmerised by the increasingly elaborate synchronised parasol choreography currently being performed by the ants awaiting the resumption of the Annual Staff Census.

Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst advises that what began as a simple means of passing the time has developed into a surprisingly polished routine, featuring spins, formations and impeccable synchronisation. She has reminded the ants that they are present to complete their official paperwork, not to rehearse for a public performance.

Anita Butler (Ant No. 14,351) has meanwhile issued the following warning:

“Whilst the Department for Health & Safety (Ant Division) applauds creativity and teamwork, all ants are reminded that the Office shall accept no responsibility for any injuries sustained during recreational dance activities. Participating ants are requested to complete a Recreational Dance Waiver Form (HS-AD/27b), available from the Health & Safety (Ant Division) Office, Crack No. 324, Just Off Main Concourse, Adjacent to the Bicycle Sheds.”

The Office thanks human subjects and creatures alike for their continued patience.
