Dear Harley,
Whilst Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst continues to manage the vote on Platform 5, the Office has received reports from multiple voters that she has become somewhat ‘flappy’. In order to pre-empt any further (or indeed increased) ‘flappiness’, the assistance of your department is therefore requested forthwith.
Accordingly, please dispatch two suitably qualified members of staff to Platform 5 to assist Mrs Peckhurst with vote counting.
The Office thanks the Department for its continued flexibility and willingness to assist during this period of increased operational demand and appreciates that this may impact weekend recreational plans. Remuneration will be provided in accordance with standard Canine Division overtime policy of 1.75 sausages per hour (taxable at 20% and subject to standard deductions for National Biscuit Insurance).
