Subject: Interim Findings – Flying Mammal Voting Analysis
Dear Tiggy,
Whilst Pepper BSc (Hons), FICSA continues finalising the Department’s comprehensive statistical report, I believe it necessary to bring this matter to your direct attention.
Preliminary analysis indicates that a number of individuals who successfully cast votes for Employee of the Week over the weekend have subsequently been identified as moths rather than bats.
Although the investigation remains ongoing, the Department considers these findings sufficiently significant to warrant immediate escalation.
At present, it is unclear whether these votes resulted from:
• Deliberate misrepresentation by the moths concerned;
• Mistaken identification during the verification process; or
• Oversight on the part of Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst.
Whilst no criticism is intended towards Mrs Peckhurst, the findings raise important questions regarding the integrity of all previously cast and counted votes, for which reason I recommend that the matter be investigated as a priority.
The Department’s full statistical report will follow once Pepper has either recovered her tennis ball or identified an acceptable alternative.
Respectfully,
Harley
Head of Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis
