The meeting between Luther, Independent Senior Adviser for Constitutional & Strategic Matters, and Tiggy regarding the ongoing situation in the vicinity of Platforms 5 and 6 remains ongoing with no resolution as yet.
The Office can confirm that a number of constitutional options remain under consideration. These include:
• Maintaining current voting arrangements.
• Establishing a formal consultation process.
• Expanding voting operations on Platform 5 to include insect, arachnid and small mammal stakeholders.
Luther has advised that whilst the principle of wider representation has merit, the practical implications require careful consideration.
