The Office can confirm that Platform 6 has been temporarily closed due to ongoing demonstrations relating to democratic representation for non-avian stakeholders.
Participants are understood to include small mammal, arachnid and insect communities who have put their differences aside and united in their cause.
Anthony Smith, representing the six-legged communities, had this to say:
“Our voices may be small as individuals, but united they cannot be ignored. We seek only the opportunity to be heard and to participate in the democratic process. If birds can vote, why not all?”
The Office respects the right of all stakeholders to express their views. It does, however, request that demonstrations remain orderly and that station infrastructure is not chewed, climbed upon or nested within.
In light of these developments, Tiggy has convened an emergency meeting with Luther, Independent Senior Adviser for Constitutional & Strategic Matters.
Further updates will follow.
