Tiggy has completed her evening patrol and is pleased to report that all remains broadly under control.
🗳️ Independent Adjudicator Mrs Constance Pickering’s risk assessment into the potential consumption of ballot papers by the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis remains ongoing. In the meantime, the ballot papers have been moved to a secure location, which has not been disclosed to the departmental staff. Toffee is hugely disappointed that the ballot paper count has been further delayed and has spent the afternoon counting ants instead. She says there are 42. She is wrong.
🐀 Tiggy held her working lunch with Luther, during which they discussed the fates of Station Rats A and B. Luther again proposed eating them, suggesting Station Rat B as a starter and saving the rather more substantial Station Rat A for the main course, but Tiggy rejected this on the grounds that it was impossible to know where the dirty pair had been. It was eventually agreed that the rats should be sentenced to hard labour. They will be responsible for keeping all 63,847 Wee Tap Shoes polished and ready for performance, and will also be required to assist with the transportation of building materials and operation of the pulley systems for the Wee Parasol Cathedral. When not engaged in labour, they will be incarcerated in a specially constructed Rat Penitentiary within the Wee Cathedral cloisters.
🐈 Following the advice of many human subjects, Tiggy returned home after her lunch with Luther for a well-earned afternoon nap. She maintains that this had absolutely nothing to do with wishing to ensure that Socks had not eaten more than her fair share of the treats.
The Office wishes all human subjects a restul evening.
