Tiggy has completed her review of departmental records and is delighted to report that, after a number of days in which all was not broadly under control, all is once again broadly under control.
🐾 Following this morning’s generous delivery from Michał, Tiggy has been released from house arrest. And, in a further welcome development, this afternoon her identification tags were handed in at Chester Station. The Office thanks both Michał and whoever found the tags (please let us know if it was you, or if you know who it was!). Therefore, while her original collar still remains at large, Tiggy is once again fully equipped for duty.
🦆 Doctors caring for the Duck (you know the one) at the Waterfowl Unit of The Earl of Chester Hospital have reported encouraging brain activity, however stress that, while the signs are somewhat positive, the Duck is still in a critical condition. Emmeline remains at his bedside.
🐜 Moira Sibley is said to be extremely unhappy about the leaked judging notes from the Synchronised Tap & Parasol Company auditions, and has ordered an immediate investigation. Ant 675’s mother is understood to be furious at Moira’s assertion that her daughter, “lacks natural aptitude and an instinctive feel for movement”.
🦡 Tiggy’s four Feline Sedan Chair Bearers have resumed training following yesterday’s printer incident. As part of their ongoing hard-labour duties, Station Rats A and B have been tasked with removing the resulting ink and toner spilt on the concourse. Mrs Dillwyn-Llewelyn is understood to be paying for the badgers’ uniforms to be dry-cleaned but has drawn the line at cleaning their white stripes.
🎄 Preparations continue for Saturday’s market at The Carriage Shed adjacent to Chester Station. Tiggy’s PPS knows that it’s a little early for the ‘C’ word…but *whisper* the cards she has designed arrived today and will be available for sale on Saturday, along with the 2027 Calendar and other Office of Tiggy merchandise. It is not yet known whether or not Tiggy will deign to attend, but Buzz and Toffee have shown great excitement at the idea of perhaps doing a meet and greet.
