EVENING UPDATE: The Office is pleased to report that Tiggy has completed her evening patrol and that all remains broadly under control.
The Department for Travel & Hospitality notes that today’s publication of Part I of Tiggy’s official pamper weekend itinerary has generated considerable public interest and confirms that Part II, covering Sunday’s programme, will be released tomorrow. Tiggy is still delighting in memories of the menu and notes that station catering is not quite the same.
Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst reports that, following another ant-lifting incident this afternoon, Anita Butler (Ant No. 14,351) has issued a temporary Health & Safety Enforcement Notice suspending Official Staff Census operations until the newly authorised miniature weights arrive from Wee-Weights R Us. Delivery is expected within 3–4 working days, after which the census will resume.
Postal ballot papers for the Employee of the Week vote continue to be delivered throughout the CH1 postcode. As this area includes the densely populated Grosvenor Park, the Office kindly asks creatures to be patient and avoid attending the station regarding missing ballot papers at this time. The three qualified carrier pigeons are working diligently to complete deliveries as quickly and efficiently as possible. The Department for Careers & Recruitment is pleased to report that a further five pigeons are due to commence training later this week.
The Department for Law & Justice confirms that Station Rats A and B remain in custody pending sentencing.
The Office wishes all creatures and human subjects a peaceful evening.
