2.25 Joint Statement from the Department for Foreign Affairs & International Relations and the Department for Underground & Subterranean Affairs

Following a joint investigation into reports that a Foreign Affairs field operative may have become involved in an incident near the site of the unauthorised excavation (location classified), both departments can now provide the following update.

• The hole has been fully inspected.

• The missing field operative was not located within the hole.

Whilst the operative remains unaccounted for, the Department for Foreign Affairs & International Relations notes that the operative is equipped with comprehensive onboard housing facilities and is therefore capable of sustaining extended deployments without undue concern.

The Department’s last confirmed information remains that the operative was advancing towards the Chester Tap Room with notable vigour.

The investigation did, however, bring to light an unidentified individual within the hole, who is now being held in Tiggy’s Office for questioning.

Further information regarding this matter will be provided once Tiggy has completed her interrogations of the subject.
