2.03 Service Update – Platform 5

The Office of Tiggy regrets to advise that Platform 5 has been temporarily closed due to the unexpectedly high number of birds in attendance to vote for Employee of the Week since the repeal of the Avian Representation Act of 1996.

Following consultation with Luther, Independent Senior Adviser for Constitutional & Strategic Matters, Tiggy has authorised the temporary closure of Platform 5 in the interests of public safety and electoral integrity.

Human subjects are advised to avoid the area whilst representatives from Avian Affairs, Elections & Governance and the Department for Health & Safety (Ant Division) work to restore normal operations. Revised platform information will be displayed on station departure boards.

Emmeline, Interim Assistant Deputy Acting Head of Avian Affairs (Platform 5 Division), has appealed for calm and reminded all birds that pecking ballot papers belonging to other birds remains a serious electoral offence.

In light of the disruption and the number of outstanding avian ballots awaiting verification, the Employee of the Week vote has been extended until 5pm tomorrow.
