🐜 The Office can confirm that the Staff Census has resumed on Platform 5 and auditions for the Health & Safety (Ant Division) Synchronised Tap & Parasol Dance Troupe are now underway on the window sill adjacent to the bike storage.
Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst reports that Census operations have experienced some disruption due to ants rehearsing whilst queuing, resulting in ants having to be reordered by their official Office Ant No. following unscheduled changes in formation.
MRS PECKHURST WOULD THEREFORE LIKE TO REITERATE: ANTS SHOULD NOT REHEARSE FOR AUDITIONS WHILST IN THE STAFF CENSUS QUEUE.
Meanwhile, the first ants to successfully complete the Census have proceeded to auditions. The Office wishes all ants luck in their auditions, but reminds all that places are limited by the number of tap shoes in the consignment from Wee-Tap Shoes R Us (currently being counted by Toffee from the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis).
Additionally, a number of ants have been turned away from auditions due to having lost their parasols (kindly donated by Wee-Parasols R Us) during recent celebrations at The Chester Station Tap. Ants without their parasol are unable to audition and are advised to check with Station Lost Property to establish whether their individual parasol has been handed in.
