Tiggy has completed her evening patrol and reports that all remains broadly under control (at work, if not at home).

🐜 The Staff Census has continued on Platform 5 throughout the day. Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst reports that operations have proceeded broadly as expected, although several further interruptions have occurred as members of Health & Safety (Ant Division) continue to rehearse audition routines whilst queuing. Ants are once again reminded to remain in strict order of their official Office Ant No.

🩰 Auditions for the Health & Safety (Ant Division) Synchronised Tap & Parasol Dance Troupe have been well attended and will continue tomorrow. A number of otherwise promising candidates have unfortunately been unable to audition due to the continued absence of their wee parasols. Station Lost Property continues to accept returned parasols.

🐕 The Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis reports that Toffee has now completed her count of Box 1 of the 143-box consignment of wee tap shoes received from Wee-Tap Shoes R Us. She has counted 1,009 wee tap shoes (enough to shoe 168.16 ants). The box has now been passed to Buzz for a verification count.

🐌 The Office confirms receipt of Field Operative Phileas Moss Esq.’s written statement explaining his unexpected return to Chester Station. His mission-worn Travelling Tote is, regrettably, still missing and his onward journey to Upton has therefore been temporarily suspended.

🏠 Finally, Tiggy has still not returned home to formally meet the small and as yet unnamed new member of her household. She has approved her own request for additional overtime at Chester Station and is spending it lounging on her favourite station bench.

The Office wishes all human and non-human subjects a very pleasant evening.
