11.13 Socks: Aptitude Assessments Update

The Department for Careers & Recruitment is pleased to report that Socks has today undertaken her first assessment directly relevant to rodent control:

Module 2a(i): Rodent Detection, Pursuit & Apprehension (Simulated)

Following the release of a Starter Training Mouse, Socks successfully identified the target, pursued it and effected an enthusiastic apprehension.

The Department is once again pleased to announce that Socks has been awarded a Distinction.

Tiggy, in her capacity as Chief Rat Catcher, has reviewed the footage and accepts that the result demonstrates some potential, although she has pointed out that the test subject was considerably smaller than a rat, was made of fabric and, to the Department’s knowledge, was not attempting to escape.

Socks is (rightly) extremely pleased with herself – WELL DONE SOCKS!
