The Office can confirm that Mr Bernard Thistlethwaite, NUAE Regional Case Officer (Cheshire West), has now arrived at Chester Station to represent Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst in ongoing discussions regarding her workload and staffing requirements.

Mr Thistlethwaite flew into Chester shortly after 3.00pm. His journey was undertaken by air from the NUAE Regional Headquarters in Nantwich in a specially made flight harness, conveyed by eight blue tits of the NUAE Aerial Transport Unit under the command of Senior Flight Officer Captain Amy Johnson (starling). The crew executed a slightly bumpy landing on Platform 5 which, to Mrs Peckhurst’s considerable chagrin, caused significant disruption to the Staff Census queue.

Captain Johnson and the eight members of her flight crew are now taking their statutory rest period in the station eaves.

Mrs Peckhurst is currently attempting to restore approximately 7,000 displaced ants to their correct census positions, while Mr Thistlethwaite is making his way towards Tiggy’s Office. He is expected to arrive at approximately 4.47pm.
