The Office regrets to advise members of the public that this morning’s scheduled update has been postponed pending Tiggy’s completion of her formal letter of thanks to Mrs Gladys M. Dillwyn-Llewelyn following last weekend’s exceptional hospitality at Dillwyn Manor.
The Department for Correspondence & Written Communications had been under the impression that the letter had already been completed. It has, however, now come to light that, whilst the letter was commenced earlier this week, Tiggy has yet to finish it. Officials have therefore instructed that the correspondence must now be completed before Tiggy undertakes any further Office business.
Accordingly, Tiggy is not to be disturbed, save in the event of an emergency (or the ants involved in the choreography on Platform 5 successfully achieving a 26-ant quadruple somersault with parasols extended).
The Office thanks members of the public for their understanding. Normal Office business will resume once the correspondence has been completed to the department’s satisfaction.
