Following extensive discussions, the Office is delighted to announce that Mrs Peckhurst has agreed to withdraw her resignation and accept a further promotion.
To this end, and in recognition of her outstanding service and continued commitment to managing the Employee of the Week ballot on Platform 5 and maintaining order on Platform 6, Mrs Peckhurst has been promoted from:
Interim Assistant Deputy Acting Head of Avian Affairs & Flying Mammals (Platform 5/6 Division)
to:
Interim Assistant Deputy Acting Head of Avian Affairs, Flying Mammals, Staff Census & Postal Ballot Administration (Platforms 5/6 Division)
As part of her expanded responsibilities, Mrs Peckhurst will oversee the Official Staff Census, which will commence on Platform 5 this Wednesday.
Given that census operations will temporarily occupy Platform 5, Tiggy has approved revised arrangements for the Employee of the Week vote to continue via a postal ballot, with Mrs Peckhurst assuming responsibility for overseeing its administration.
To assist with these additional duties, the Department for Careers & Recruitment has authorised the temporary appointment of 20 carrier pigeons (subject to recruitment and departmental budget approval), who will be responsible for delivering, collecting, transporting and sorting official ballot papers.
Meanwhile, the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis will continue to verify, analyse and count returned votes.
Mrs Peckhurst’s revised remuneration package includes:
A further 1.9% salary increase
An additional 0.75 days of annual leave
A 2.71% increase in her corn & maize budget
