The Office can confirm that Tiggy has now completed her evening patrol and that everything remains broadly under control.
Preparations for the forthcoming Official Office Staff Census have continued throughout the day. The Office remains optimistic that this simple administrative exercise will pass without incident; however, the Department for Careers & Recruitment is having more difficulty than anticipated identifying an unflappable interim employee to oversee the process. Applicants are reminded that demonstrable previous experience of managing multi-species crowds and paperwork on a platform is a prerequisite.
The Department for Merchandise & Commemorative Affairs is delighted by the enthusiasm shown for the proposed official merchandise and thanks human subjects for their ideas. Numerous suggestions have now been received, ranging from mugs and hoodies to calendars, cat bowls and ticket holders. Further suggestions are warmly welcomed: https://tinyurl.com/mykztc46
Mrs Peckhurst’s position remains unchanged. Tiggy continues to hope that a satisfactory resolution can be reached and thanks everyone who has expressed their support.
After questioning, the Department for Foreign Affairs & International Relations has admitted that Field Operative Phileas Moss has not been heard from since Friday, when he was reportedly on the perimeter of the Town Crier Garden. There is now growing concern that, as a great horse racing enthusiast, he may have been encouraged by patrons of the Town Crier to delay his mission to Upton in favour of attending the Midsummer Meeting due to take place at the Roodee this coming Saturday. Accordingly, the Department has been instructed to deploy another field operative to follow his trail.
Tiggy wishes all staff, passengers and creatures a peaceful evening.
