The Office can confirm that Toffee has been temporarily relieved of her crowd management duties on Platform 6 following an examination by the Department for Health & Wellbeing.
Whilst initially believed to have been the result of unusually aggressive fleas attending the demonstration, the Department has now concluded that the “very bity” fleas to which Toffee earlier referred were not, in fact, among the protesters, but had accompanied her to work.
Toffee has accordingly been granted authorised leave in order to undergo emergency flea treatment.
Buzz has assured the Office that, whilst managing the demonstration alone presents certain logistical challenges, she remains confident that proceedings will continue in an orderly fashion until her colleague returns to active duty.
The Office wishes Toffee a swift recovery and respectfully reminds all canine personnel that routine flea prevention forms an important part of workplace health and safety. Failure to manage parasites appropriately may result in disciplinary action.
