Simulated Prey Herding & Claw Control
In this assessment, Socks was required to demonstrate visual tracking, controlled pursuit and the ability to herd a simulated target while exercising complete claw restraint.
For Health & Safety reasons, live prey is not permitted during initial training, therefore a balloon was provided as a simulated target.
Socks’s performance has been submitted to the Department for Training & Retraining for review.
