🦆 The Duck (you know the one) remains in a coma following Saturday’s incident. Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst visited him this afternoon and described his silence as “deafening”. She remains by his bedside. Anita Butler has begun a formal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
🐌 The Department for Official Records & Public Information has today released Part One of Mr Phileas Moss Esq.’s personal account of his inaugural flight, which, for Human Subjects who have not yet read it, is the post immediately before this one. Anita Butler remains adamant that her version is the more accurate.
🐜 Auditions for the Chester Station Synchronised Tap & Parasol Ant Dance Company continued despite Ant 675’s Mum staging a one-woman protest over Moira Sibley’s insistence that her daughter should not be given a second chance to audition after twisting three ankles during her first audition due to her failure to warm up effectively. Moira Sibley has said: “In my experience, interfering mothers have ended more dance careers than made them.”
🎵 Work has continued on sorting the pipes for the Wee Parasol Cathedral’s two wee organs. Director of Music, Cecilia Fortescue FRCOrg, has expressed some concern regarding the attitude of certain members of the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis assigned to assist with the work and reminded the dogs that the pipes are delicate, highly precise musical instruments, not sticks.
🛍️ Finally, Tiggy’s Personal Private Secretary wishes to advise Human Subjects that she will be at Chester Food & Craft Festival at The Carriage Shed on Saturday 10 October from 11am – 4pm, selling Official Tiggy merchandise and available to chat about all things The Office of Tiggy (Tiggy has not yet advised whether or not she will put in an appearance).
