Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst, Interim Assistant Deputy Acting Head of Avian Affairs, Flying Mammals, Staff Census & Postal Ballot Administration (Platforms 5/6), confirms that voting in the Employee of the Week postal ballot for the week ending 12 June 2026 has now closed.
Human subjects are thanked for their incredible patience during what has become an increasingly protracted period of voting, but are reminded that with the huge number of votes cast by a vast range of species over the past three months, the closure of the vote does not indicate that a result is expected any time soon.
Alongside their existing responsibilities for managing the Staff Census, Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst and her assistant, the Duck (you know the one), will now also take responsibility for overseeing the tallying of the votes by the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis. Toffee is said to be positively giddy at the prospect.
