Tiggy apologises for the slight delay in this morning’s report. She has been rather preoccupied enjoying the new massage chair received from Mrs Gladys M. Dillwyn-Llewelyn for her birthday.
She has now completed her morning patrol and reports that everything remains broadly under control.
Field Operative Phileas Moss Esq.’s travelling trolley remains parked outside the Department of Internal Investigations & Prosecutions (DIIP) following yesterday’s discovery of a number of Standard Issue Wee Parasols from Wee Parasols R Us inside his travelling tote. It is assumed he is still being questioned.
Toffee has resumed counting her 217 paperclips. Harley has suggested moving completed groups of ten to the other side of the desk. Toffee feels this would be ‘cheating’ and intends to continue with her own method even if it’s harder.
Auditions have resumed for the Synchronised Tap & Parasol Dance Troupe on the windowsill adjacent to the bike sheds. Following the decision to abandon counting the consignment from Wee Tap Shoes R Us, shoes will now be issued to successful ants on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies are exhausted.
Ants are reminded to complete their Staff Census forms before auditioning and that both practising in the Census queue and non-Standard Issue Wee Parasols are strictly forbidden.
The Department for Elections & Governance has requested an update on the Employee of the Week postal ballot (week ending 12/6). Mrs Peckhurst reports that a substantial quantity of ballot papers remain to be delivered and she and the remaining two carrier pigeons are doing their best. Candidates Becky, Jakub and Sophie are thanked for their continued patience.
Final preparations for the Official Tiggy 2027 Calendar continue. Tiggy is most pleased with the design and has pre-ordered 20 for her office.
Having attended to the morning’s most pressing matters, Tiggy has now returned to her massage chair.
The Office wishes all human subjects a wonderful day.
