Tiggy has completed her evening patrol and is pleased to report that everything remains broadly under control.
Field Operative Phileas Moss Esq. successfully reached the Lost Property Office this morning aboard his newly adapted luggage trolley and has confirmed from the field notes contained therein that the travelling tote is indeed his. However, the tote was also found to contain a substantial quantity of wee umbrellas.
Lost Property has therefore notified the Department of Internal Investigations & Prosecutions (DIIP), who have called Mr Moss in for questioning. He is now travelling by trolley to the DIIP offices, but maintains his innocence.
Buzz’s formal appeal against the disciplinary note received during the counting of Box 1 of the wee tap shoe consignment has now been passed to the Department for Personnel & Administrative Affairs for consideration.
Toffee has meanwhile been given 217 paperclips to count. She counted 7 before dropping them, started again, reached 4 and dropped them again. She is now on her third and hopefully final count. She is delighted with the task.
The Duck (you know the one) has completed his first full day assisting Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst and is now engaged in overtime ministering to passing passengers with his PA system. A considerable backlog of ants remains. Mrs Peckhurst continues to decline to comment.
Following today’s release of the first instalment of Tiggy’s birthday weekend report, the Office can confirm that further details of her celebrations will follow.
The Office wishes all human subjects a restful evening.
