1.09 Official Statement from Tiggy

I have been advised by the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis that the number of human subjects participating in this programme has now exceeded 1,000.

Whilst this is, by any reasonable measure, a satisfactory result, I would remind everyone that the purpose of this page remains one of public service rather than an exercise in popularity.

I would like to thank all human subjects for their continued cooperation, correspondence and generally acceptable standards of behaviour. I am particularly grateful to George, The Stourbridge Station Cat for his support during the early stages of this initiative, and to the members of Photos of Chester for their assistance in this matter.

For the avoidance of doubt, I would once again like to confirm that:

• No DREAMIES™ have changed paws.

• No coordinated railway cat initiative exists.

• George and I have still never met.

I trust this clarifies matters.

Finally, I would like to thank the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis for their diligent work in monitoring human acquisition trends. The efforts of all involved have been noted and additional tennis balls authorised.

Now, back to work everyone.
