Following careful consideration and in recognition of her outstanding service during the recent constitutional challenges affecting Platforms 5 and 6, Tiggy is pleased to announce Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst’s immediate promotion from Interim Assistant Deputy Acting Head of Avian Affairs (Platform 5 Division) to:
Interim Assistant Deputy Acting Head of Avian Affairs & Flying Mammals (Platform 5/6 Division)
This promotion reflects Tiggy’s confidence in Mrs Peckhurst’s professionalism, dedication and steadfast commitment to public service, and also recognises the additional duties she has taken on.
Her new remuneration package includes:
🪶 A 2.9% salary increase (0.1% above inflation)
🪶 An additional 0.5 days of annual leave
🪶 A part-time Administrative Support Assistant (5 hours per week), subject to recruitment and departmental budget approval
Her revised working arrangements include:
🪶 Daytime voting operations between 8:00am and 6:00pm only
🪶 Revised flying mammal voting hours of 10:00pm to 3:00am only
Following her acceptance of the new role, Mrs Peckhurst immediately reopened voting on Platform 5 before attending the protest on Platform 6, where order was quickly restored.
Given the temporary suspension of voting during the past 36 hours, ballot boxes will remain open for extended hours throughout the weekend to clear the backlog of voters. Mrs Peckhurst has confirmed that she will personally oversee these additional voting operations.
