Department of Internal Investigations & Prosecutions (DIIP)

To investigate suspected wrongdoing and irregularities within the Office’s jurisdiction and establish whether further legal action is required.

Conduct formal investigations; investigate procurement irregularities and unauthorised goods; question suspects and witnesses; review statements and documentary evidence; establish chains of responsibility; clear individuals where evidence does not support involvement; refer appropriate matters for prosecution; investigate theft, misappropriation and other suspected wrongdoing.
