Tiggy has reviewed the departmental records and is pleased to report that all remains broadly under control.
🗳️ Following 17 weeks of voting and counting, the results of the Employee of the Week ballot for the week ending 12 June have finally been released and, quite extraordinarily, Sophie, Becky and Jakub each received precisely 10,483,726 and 2/8ths votes and have therefore been declared joint winners. Each will receive a personalised commemorative mug.
🐈 In light of the considerable administrative burden arising from the introduction of democracy, Tiggy has decided to return to the previous system of TIGGTOTALITARIANISM. She has thus declared herself Employee of the Week for the week ending 9 October. She will not receive a commemorative mug, as her name is already on everything.
🔔 Questioning of Matthias de Gans, reigning World Town Crier Champion, has been completed. The DIIP is now reviewing the evidence.
🦆 Doctors at The Earl of Chester Hospital report that the Duck (you know the one) has remained comfortable throughout the day and is now, according to Emmeline, ‘quacking quietly’. Nursing staff have clarified that this appears to be somewhat relative to his usual volume as his quacking can, in fact, be heard quite clearly echoing throughout the ward.
🛍️ Unfortunately, tomorrow’s Carriage Shed Food & Craft Market has been cancelled by the organisers due to the forecast high winds. Tiggy’s PPS hopes to be at next month’s event on Saturday 14th November instead.
🎄 Following the cancellation of the market, Socks and Tiggy’s PPS have been busy making the new Christmas cards available to purchase online. They can now be ordered individually or in packs of four at www.tiggythecat.co.uk/shop.
The Office is now closed until Monday and wishes all human subjects and creatures a very pleasant evening and peaceful weekend. Stay safe in the winds!
