This afternoon Mrs Gladys M. Dillwyn-Llewelyn began taking measurements for the life-size, exact, poseable replica of Tiggy to be used during the forthcoming Department for Vehicular Licensing & Animal Conveyance (DVLAC) examination of the four badgers assigned to be her Feline Sedan Chair bearers.
Tiggy permitted the measurement of her height, ear, whisker and forepaw lengths with only moderate tail thrashing, but firmly declined to cooperate when Mrs D-L produced her weighing scales.
Subsequent attempts to measure Tiggy’s circumference were suspended when she hissed at Mrs D-L and went to lie on the station concourse, glaring moodily at the gathering crowd.
Mrs D-L is said to be devastated by Tiggy’s “ungrateful attitude” and is being comforted by station staff.
