Professional Profile

Buzz is a canine human behaviour specialist with postgraduate training in behavioural observation and applied biscuit acquisition.

Her early observational training aboard the RAF Air Sea Rescue vessel Jaymac taught her the value of remaining alert to the unexpected and responding rapidly to changes in human behaviour.

Following completion of her MSc at Pawsmouth University, Buzz joined The Office of Tiggy as Senior Human Behaviour Analyst within the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis, where she works alongside Toffee under the direction of Harley.

Disciplinary Notes

Submission of incomplete data for Employee of the Week voting after Instagram votes were omitted from interim calculations.

Formal written warning: issued for lying about having to attend a wedding as a ring-bearer to avoid weekend overtime counting Wee Tap Shoes. She and Toffee were subsequently seen out and about by Montgomery Burrows. As a punishment she and Toffee were made to complete overtime with pay restricted to the standard rate of 1.1 sausages per hour, subject to the standard 16.25% Sausage Tax, rather than the usual overtime rate of 1.75 sausages per hour, subject to enhanced 46.79% Sausage Tax.

Notable Achievements

Awarded sausages by the Department for Treats & Snacks in recognition of weekend overtime during the Employee of the Week voting.

Personal Statement

“My interest in human behaviour began during my observational training aboard the RAF Air Sea Rescue vessel Jaymac, where I learned that remaining alert to the unexpected is often the most valuable skill of all: quick observation, prompt action (response first, thought second).

Since joining The Office of Tiggy, I have sought to apply my RAF training to the study of human behaviour at Chester Station. Whilst statistical analysis forms an important part of my work, I still firmly believe that the most valuable insights are often gained through barking incessantly until the humans respond.”
