The Department for Law & Justice is pleased to confirm that Station Rat A has been taken into custody.
The arrest followed information received earlier today from Mrs Gladys M. Dillwyn-Llewelyn, who had travelled from Pen-y-Bont to Chester Station to deliver an exquisitely detailed, microscopically stitched needlepoint portrait of Tiggy.
Whilst making her way through the station, Mrs Dillwyn-Llewelyn happened to notice what she described as “a scruffy-looking fellow with a shifty air, pointy nose, and awful yellowed, crooked teeth peering out from behind a promotional display for summer rail discounts.”
Upon hearing this description Tiggy, with her customary speed and skill, wasted no time in apprehending Station Rat A. (One doesn’t graduate from the Royal College of Rodent Studies with First Class Honours and the Chancellor’s Prize for no reason.)
The Office can now confirm that both Station Rat A and Station Rat B are assisting officers with their enquiries into exactly how the fox came to be in possession of a counterfeit Station Street Food Vendor’s Licence (SSFVL) and fake Food Safety Assessment documentation.
The Office congratulates Mrs Dillwyn-Llewelyn on both her outstanding vigilance and extraordinary craftsmanship. The needlepoint portrait has been gratefully received and will take pride of place within Tiggy’s Office.
