The Office is pleased to report that Tiggy has completed her morning patrol and that matters, once again, remain broadly under control.
Toffee remains off duty whilst resitting Manual Handling Course MHB-01, “Read the Label First: Safe Identification and Relocation of Boxes.” The Office understands she has a practical assessment today entitled: “Which Box to Move?” in which she must decide whether to move or leave a selection of boxes. She is wished every success in this assessment.
The Department for Elections & Governance confirms that voting on Platform 5 remains suspended whilst Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst’s resignation continues to be considered. The Office respectfully reminds all creatures that the ballot remains closed and also reminds all foxes that the sale of street food and beverages to the waiting crowds is not permitted unless the appropriate licences have first been obtained.
First Aid confirms that the millipede continues to recover well. Regrettably, he still remains on bed rest given the Office still possesses insufficient crutches to accommodate all affected limbs simultaneously. Any creatures previously in receipt of Office crutches are advised that First Aid has announced a crutch amnesty. No questions will be asked. In the meantime, the Office physio has implemented a phased rehabilitation programme.
The Department for Merchandise & Commemorative Affairs is currently reviewing the many excellent suggestions submitted by Human Subjects. Discussions with the Department for Printing & Design are progressing encouragingly, and the Office is hopeful that good progress will be made over the coming days towards making a range of official Office merchandise available for human purchase. The Office is also pleased to confirm that a charity partner has now been engaged.
Tiggy has now retired to her offices for her mid-morning nap and wishes all staff, passengers and creatures a pleasant Friday.
