Tiggy has completed her evening patrol and reports that all remains broadly under control (at work, if not at home).

🛍️ The Department of Merchandise & Commemorative Affairs is pleased to confirm that the first Official Office of Tiggy orders have now been dispatched. Mr Jeremy Sherwood, Senior Quality Assurance Inspector, approved the merchandise for release and Mrs Jennifer Sherwood, Head of Packaging & Dispatch, successfully completed the Office’s inaugural postal operation. The Office wishes the consignments a safe onward journey and sincerely hopes each human subject is delighted with their purchase.

🐜 Following the emergence of footage of last night’s celebrations at The Chester Station Tap, ‘Wee-Tap Shoes R Us’ has announced that a complimentary consignment of wee tap shoes, sufficient to equip approximately one quarter of Health & Safety (Ant Division), is being dispatched to Chester Station.

Demand is expected to exceed supply considerably; therefore, auditions for places in the newly proposed ‘Health & Safety (Ant Division) Synchronised Tap & Parasol Dance Troupe’ will commence on the window sill adjacent to the bike storage tomorrow at noon.

Ants wishing to audition must first complete their Staff Census forms. Six tap shoes will be issued to each successful applicant.

🐌 The Office is still awaiting Field Operative Phileas Moss’s promised written explanation as to why his recruitment mission unexpectedly brought him back to Chester Station last night. Mr Moss has reiterated that there is a perfectly reasonable explanation. Officials look forward to discovering what it is.

🏠 Finally, the arrival of the new and as yet unnamed member of Tiggy’s household appears to have caused some unease – Tiggy has yet to make her acquaintance but has reportedly been distinctly unimpressed by the idea. Tiggy has subsequently submitted a request for additional overtime at Chester Station.

Similarly, Toffee and Buzz from the Department for Human Behaviour & Statistical Analysis have inspected the new arrival from a distance and declined to comment.

The Office wishes all a wonderful evening.
