Tiggy has completed her morning patrol and is pleased to report that all remains broadly under control.
Field Operative Phileas Moss Esq. has been permitted to leave the Department of Internal Investigations & Prosecutions (DIIP) following questioning regarding the Standard Issue Wee Parasols discovered inside his travelling tote. He is now travelling back to the Chester Station Tap on his travelling trolley, where he will write a full written report on how he has no knowledge of how the wee parasols came to be inside his travelling tote.
Toffee has completed her count of the 217 paperclips. She has submitted a final total of 214.5. She is confident this is close enough and has asked for something harder to count. Harley, Head of Department, is considering the matter.
Auditions for the Synchronised Tap & Parasol Dance Troupe are continuing with seven ants now officially in the troupe and one on reserve. News that wee tap shoes are being issued to successful candidates on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies are exhausted has caused some unrest, with a number of ants refusing to complete their Census forms before auditioning (per Office policy). Mrs Peckhurst has made it clear that ants found to have auditioned without completing their Census forms will have their tap shoes confiscated and their position in the troupe rescinded. The judging panel counters that she has no jurisdiction to make such claims.
The Duck (you know the one) is addressing the situation by making a speech about the importance of following rules using his PA system. Passing humans are advised that while his speech is not directed at them, it may contain useful advice should they take the time to listen.
Pre-orders for the Official Tiggy 2027 Calendar are now open. Tiggy would like to thank those human subjects who have already placed orders and reminds everyone that the full calendar can be previewed in The Office of Tiggy Shop: www.tiggythecat.co.uk/shop.
The Office wishes all human subjects a wonderful day.
