Tiggy has completed her morning patrol and is pleased to report that everything remains broadly under control.

πŸ•ŠοΈ The Department for Personnel & Administrative Affairs has completed the appointment documentation for the Duck (you know the one). Mrs Peckhurst is expected to be formally introduced to her new assistant once she returns from her morning round of delivering ballot papers for the Employee of the Week postal vote.

🐢 The Synchronised Tap & Parasol Dance Troupe judging panel has accepted Harley’s proposal to stop counting the 143-box consignment of wee tap shoes. Buzz and Toffee have been informed and are understood to be very annoyed, having spent several days counting, recounting and retrieving wee tap shoes.

Buzz said, β€œLast week the task was so important we were required to work overtime to complete the counting of Box 1, yet now the whole task can just be dropped! I even got a disciplinary note on my record over it. It makes no sense – this Office is a farce!”

Toffee said, β€œI was just getting into all the counting.”

πŸ‘œ Lost Property has notified the Office that an unattended travelling tote closely resembling the one recently reported missing by Mr Moss has been discovered. The tote is not empty, although Lost Property has declined to reveal what is inside – the rightful owner will be required to identify the tote by its contents. Mr Moss is now making his way to Lost Property.

🐜Senior Risk Assessment Officer Anita Butler (Ant No. 14,351) has advised that Mr Moss’s proposed flight-harness system will require a full safety assessment, must meet certain construction standards and will need to pass a rigorous testing regime before it can be approved for use in official Office business. She is currently preparing a report on the matter.

πŸˆβ€β¬› Tiggy is now fully recovered from her birthday weekend, but has refused to answer questions regarding precisely how much vintage tuna water was consumed and is yet to provide any details of the celebrations.

The Office wishes all human subjects a wonderful day.
