Tiggy has completed her morning patrol and is pleased to report that everything remains broadly under control.
🕊️ Mrs Emmeline Peckhurst has returned from weekend postal ballot deliveries and been informed that negotiations between Tiggy and Mr Bernard Thistlethwaite, NUAE Regional Case Officer (Cheshire West), have resulted in additional staff to assist with the Staff Census queue on Platform 5. Mrs Peckhurst is delighted and eager to meet her new colleague, whose identity cannot be formally disclosed to her until the Department for Personnel & Administrative Affairs has completed the necessary appointment documentation.
🐶 Harley has reviewed the need to establish the precise number of wee tap shoes in the 143-box consignment from Wee-Tap Shoes R Us. While an exact figure was originally considered necessary to establish places in the Health & Safety (Ant Division) Synchronised Tap & Parasol Dance Troupe, she has concluded that there are as many wee tap shoes as there are, and counting them doesn’t change that.
She has therefore advised the judging panel to issue shoes to successful auditionees until there aren’t any left. The judging panel have yet to comment.
🐌 Following discussions with Mr Thistlethwaite, Field Operative Phileas Moss believes flight-harness technology could provide a considerably faster means of reaching Upton to recruit a Temporary Classification & Taxonomy Officer.
Previous flight proposals were rejected by Health & Safety (Ant Division) as too dangerous. Having inspected Mr Thistlethwaite’s system, Mr Moss believes the risks can be addressed and will today consult Anita Butler, Ant No. 14,351, regarding safety requirements before recruiting an engineering team.
🐈⬛ Finally, Tiggy returned from her birthday weekend with Mrs Gladys M. Dillwyn-Llewelyn last night in remarkably high spirits, apparently following rather more vintage tuna water and catnip than might ordinarily be advisable.
The Office hopes to obtain a full report once Tiggy is in a position to provide one.
For now, Tiggy has gone back to bed.
