The Office is pleased to announce that the dispute which resulted in Tiggy’s withdrawal from official duties this morning has now been resolved.
Tiggy has accepted that her Personal Private Secretary will NOT be hiring Chester Town Hall for her 7th birthday celebrations this Saturday. In return, both parties have agreed that Tiggy’s birthday should instead be used to help cats who have not yet succeeded in acquiring their own railway station, Personal Private Secretary and extensive administrative infrastructure.
The Office is therefore delighted to launch Tiggy’s 7th Birthday Fundraiser for Chester Kitty Cat Rescue-UK, the wonderful local charity which rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes stray and vulnerable cats in the Chester area, while promoting animal welfare through foster care, neutering and public education.
Anyone wishing to mark Tiggy’s birthday is invited, if they would like, to make a donation directly to Chester Kitty Cat Rescue. There is absolutely no obligation to do so – birthday wishes and general expressions of admiration remain entirely acceptable.

It should be noted that Tiggy’s decision to concede on the matter of hiring Chester Town Hall is in no way connected to the fact that Mrs Gladys M. Dillwyn-Llewelyn contacted Tiggy’s Personal Private Secretary this afternoon with instructions to ensure that Tiggy has a small overnight case packed and ready for Friday evening.
Thank you, as always, for being part of Tiggy’s rather unexpectedly large Office.
Normal Office business will resume tomorrow.
